You are not in trouble! When you are contacted by the Gies Success Team about your engagement this means we would like to help. Please review the information below about a Student Engagement Notification.
- College or campus instructors make engagement requests to inform the Gies Success Team to reach out to you for academic support.
- Instructors typically make requests when students are not showing signs of academic success due to low engagment in a course.
- When a request is made, you will receive a Student Engagement Notification email from the Gies Success Team or an advisor directing you to connect with your instructors and Gies Undergraduate Affairs.
- Requests about student engagement will not go on your transcript, but should be taken seriously because you could be at risks of a failing grade.
